Weave Structure: Rosengang or My Rose Path Cushion Cover

Date:

28-29 nov.

Price:

CHF 270.–

Weave your own cushion in Rose Path weave using leftover wool yarns! If you don’t have any, materials will be available in the workshop.

The “Rosengang” threading allows endless variations of small “rose” motifs and lets you experiment with different color and pattern combinations.

This two-day workshop will allow you to weave enough fabric for one (or two) cushions of about 60 cm width (using large looms). The workshop will remain open to all participants for the following five days to complete their work.

Prerequisite: prior experience required (you must know how to warp a loom). Bring your leftover yarns, preferably of similar thickness, or your own chosen yarns, and let your creativity flow.

What our students have achieved

Nicole Genoud

Workshop Director

After the meeting of an elderly lady weaver, I started weaving as a teenager, as a self-taught enthusiast. After a long break, I stumbled across an ARM loom at a flea market! I immediately started weaving again with the desire to learn a bit more; so I started training as a weaver at Filambule with Danièle Mussard. I've finished the course and feel I've got everything to discover! Now I'll be able to take the time to learn more, experiment and explore this infinite world of yarns, materials and colours... with enthusiasm!
