The goal of this course is to create a simple and functional pair of socks for each participant, using the Toe-Up method (the sock is knitted from the toe to the ankle) with the Magic Loop technique (using a circular needle with a 60 or 80 cm cable).
The proposed pattern will be simple, timeless, and versatile, featuring a 1x3 ribbing along the top of the foot and the ankle. This invitation to explore the world of hand-knitted socks will take place over three sessions, following the three key stages of sock construction: toe, heel, and ankle (with a tubular bind-off). A two-week interval will be scheduled between each session to allow everyone to progress at their own pace.
The workshop will only take place if at least 4 participants are registered.
Dates: September 12, September 16, and September 30 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
